This was a scholar from ancient China. He traveled through mountains and rivers with his backpack, experiencing nature alone. Inside his pack were only a few books, a scroll painting, and a tea set. When he encountered beautiful scenery along the way, he would sketch it onto his scroll. When weary from walking, he would brew a cup of tea beneath a roadside tree and read for a while. This was the solitary romance of the East.
